I offer a gentle space to heal relationship issues and attachment wounds, practice communicating your needs with greater confidence, set goals and boundaries that you can follow through, and open a path for your innate joy and creativity as you navigate life’s transitions.
I emphasize experiential and somatic approaches to healing and wellness. Slowing down, we bring spaciousness and warm curiosity to issues that live in tension in your body. We may use objects, body movement, or art to explore your felt sense of a situation, welcome your inner “parts,” and allow your body’s wisdom to reveal the way forward. As we get to know various aspects of yourself, new connections and stories become possible. And because we grow in relationship, I teach classes that encourage peer support and connection.
In addition to relationship and attachment issues, I treat developmental trauma, depression, shame, anxiety, life transitions and adjustment, spirituality, creativity and life projects, grief, and ADHD. To these I bring a trauma-informed approach and continually strive toward culturally sensitive and anti-oppressive practice.
“Every bad feeling is potential energy toward a more right way of being if you give it space to move toward its rightness.” ~ Eugene Gendlin
