I partner with clients so they can express themselves without fear of judgment, rejection, or abandonment. Drawing on my post-graduate training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma informed care, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, attachment-based perspectives and nature-informed practices, I help clients explore their full range of experiences openly and honestly.
I have extensive experience working with veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and others who have felt marginalized or pushed to the periphery of society. I love offering both individual and group psychotherapy, appreciating how healing occurs through shared experience and meaningful human connection. My clinical interests include addiction, trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and interpersonal conflict, and life transitions involving aging,
identity, purpose, and feelings of invisibility or disconnection.
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore with a concentration in Behavioral Health and received advanced training in substance use treatment through an interprofessional fellowship at the Seattle VA Medical Center. I have worked in outpatient and inpatient settings helping clients navigate trauma, substance misuse, and other mental health challenges. My approach is warm, grounded, and approachable.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time in nature, being around dogs, and listening to music, especially Stevie Nicks, whose lyric, “Can I handle the seasons of my life?” continues to resonate with me as a reminder of growth, resilience, and the challenges that often accompany real change.
My practice is telehealth only and I offer services to those residing in Ohio, South Carolina,
Maryland, and (starting in 2027) New York.
