Making the decision to come to therapy is not always easy, and I am honored to be part of your journey. I recognize that there is no one-size-fits-all to therapy, and so invite you into a process of sharing your story and adjusting interventions to best fit your needs. In that, I often approach our work from an interpersonal lens and incorporate Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, and attachment-based interventions.
Common concerns that I work with include sexual trauma histories, developmental traumas, grief and bereavement, depression, relational concerns/interpersonal functioning, emotional instability, identity development, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, adolescence, emerging adulthood and Women’s issues.
My clinical experiences have spanned multiple modalities, including brief and long-term individual therapy, structured and process group therapies, evidence-based treatment programs for depression, anxiety and perfectionism, parent skills training, outreach, and crisis intervention and response. Since joining Trysa Shulman & Associates I have also run both Teen and Emerging Adult DBT Groups, as well as a Women’s Process Group.
My practice is telehealth only and I offer services to those residing in Ohio, Virginia, Indiana, and California.
