Danielle Weiss, LCSW

As a licensed clinical social worker and somatic therapist, I specialize in working with a range of challenges including trauma, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I’ve had the honor of working with a wide range of clients, witnessing and holding space for their healing journey.

I’m trained in several modalities of therapy that I love to use with clients. I am trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE), a trauma treatment that resolves trauma on the body and nervous system-level. With techniques from SE, I support clients in feeling that the traumatic experience is resolved, restoring a sense of safety.

I also have training in Gestalt Therapy, Internal Family Systems, attachment therapy, and nature-based therapy. With the combination of these therapeutic modalities, we can resolve deep emotional wounds at the root. Through these approaches to healing, clients often experience a sense of inner peace, feeling more present in the moment, and a renewed excitement about life.

It’s incredibly important to me to provide excellent clinical care to every client. I work to ensure that my patients feel seen, heard, understood, and listened to. I strive to provide trauma-informed, culturally competent care. That means that I care deeply about your cultural identities and your particular life experiences, and understanding how they shape you in the present day.

My style is grounded, nurturing, transparent, real, and collaborative.
