Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills group for Emerging Adults (18-26) for Help With Depression, Anxiety, Numbness, Self-Harm, Interpersonal Conflict, or Mood Instability

Weekly Program for Young Adults (approx. 14 sessions) Meets ONLINE

This DBT Skills Training Group is for young adults between the ages of 18 and 26 who experience chronic emotional difficulties and are ready to learn and practice new skills in all areas of their lives. Primary goals of the group are to decrease self-destructive behaviors, increase effective coping skills, and create a sense of behavioral and emotional stability for the group member. 

Topics include emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, reducing impulsivity, goal setting, mindfulness, learning to identify emotions, and dialectical thinking and acting (reducing the need for extremes). 

  • All group members are required to be in weekly individual therapy throughout the course of the program
